Account Deletion

This public page lets you request deletion of an IFQ Quest synced account without signing in to the app or reinstalling it.

IFQ Quest is an independent study companion for the CISI Islamic Finance Qualification. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CISI.

Request Account Deletion

Enter the email address used for your IFQ Quest account. Do not send your password.

What Is Deleted

  • The IFQ Quest account record, email address, and profile information.
  • Password credentials if present.
  • Active account sessions.
  • Synced learning progress linked to the account.
  • Support tickets linked to the account.

What May Be Retained

  • Local study data stored on your own device until you clear it.
  • Support requests or leaderboard entries that are not linked to your account.
  • Anonymous operational activation records or optional anonymous analytics.
  • Limited records needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, or service reasons.

Local-Device Data

IFQ Quest is offline-first. Deleting a synced account removes server-side account data, but it does not erase study progress stored on your phone or tablet.

To clear local-device data, use the reset controls in the app, clear IFQ Quest storage in Android settings, uninstall the app, and delete any backup files you exported.

Timing

In-app deletion for signed-in users completes when the authenticated deletion request succeeds. Requests sent from this page are reviewed after verification and are normally completed within 30 days, unless a legal, security, fraud-prevention, or abuse-prevention reason requires a longer retention period.
